jMaveguitars was founded in 2016 by Jerome while pursuing a career as a scientist, guitar playing and gear. The company represented his journey in the guitar gear world, bringing “boutique” gear that are special and inspiring. Jerome strongly believes that behind every guitar builder lies a story.

Their story goes all the way back to 2008, when John Wei — founder and yeast whisperer extraordinaire — first picked up home brewing after experiencing a beer awakening on a trip in Cornwall UK. The first few attempts were more of John shouting at the yeast, but he soon got into a groove, racking up competition wins and proving himself to be one of the best brewers on the scene.  In 2017, John and a few friends came up with a wild idea: to make his award-winning brews available to the wider public. Taking a leap of faith, he gave up his day job and plunged headfirst into the project with the mission to challenge the status quo of Asia's beer scene, while putting Singaporean brews on the world beer map.  Brewlander splashed onto Singapore's craft beer scene on 14 March 2017, launching to glowing response from the local beer community and the media as Singapore's first gypsy brewer.

UNS is Singapore’s largest distributor for leading professional nail care products, and the exclusive distributor for the premium brands from USA, Germany and Korea such as O.P.I, SHELLAC, BANDI, ibd, EzFlow, Seche, Poshe, Prolinc, BCL Spa Organic, Allpresan, PACT, Pronail and Spa Redi.  ​UNS holds multiple distribution rights in other SEA countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia). The Moon was a bookstore, cafe, and event space based in historical Chinatown, Singapore.  The Moon shines a light on the stories of so many wonderfully talented authors, creators and makers who may have slipped under the radar of the mainstream.  Their selection highlights writers and stories who have been historically excluded from the centre of publishing and we pay special attention to books by writers of marginalised genders, writers of colour, queer writers, and writers who write in translation.  They also stock a variety of merchandise from creators based out of Singapore and the Southeast Asian region. You can always discover something new on The Moon.
