On The Other Hand, also known as OTheOHand, is established and inspired by her first born in 2020.  OTheOHand lends it’s origins from the desire to be organized and comfortable.  They often find themselves lugging along extra tote bags and ransacking everything inside just to find a pack of tissue or their phones.  Our solution, on the other hand, is to present you with accessories that is lightweight (easy on your shoulders) and helps organize your things in the perfect way you want it so you can say goodbye to the ransacking and aching shoulders.  “Theo” means gift of God. Their first born (inspiration for Otheohand) was a gift from God and as cliche as it may be, they hope that their products will also be a gift of God to you and your loved ones.

Dean and Juliana met while they were both serving in the Singapore Police Force and together, continued their further studies in the first Gerontology program in Singapore more than a decade ago. Dean went on to continue her research in areas such as nutrition, sleep and movement while Juliana pursued her interest in neuroscience and emotions. Even though their interests are significantly varied, they realised that their interests were also very much complementary. Their experience serving palliative care patients together since 2016 has given them much insights about life. In 2017, they co-founded The Facilitators' Project which runs empowerment programs for abused and neglected children and women in shelters.
